October 5th marked the arrival of International Teacher’s Day. Millions of beloved teachers throughout the world were thus honored, a handful of which were in the Confucius Hall attending the annual Teacher’s Day Celebration of Developing Virtue Boys School.

Bridge is a card game dated back from the 1800s, gaining widespread popularity throughout the world. It is acknowledged as the hardest card game on this planet, played by the likes of great minds such as Bill Gates and Warren Buffett. This is the second year of the DVBS Bridge Club, led by Bo Han Zhu (11).

The towering redwoods in Montgomery Woods is a sight few people have a chance to witness. The students were instructed to reflect on themselves as they strolled through the woods. At first, the boys were restless, and couldn’t keep up the fast pace…

Engulfed by the deafening silence, the odorless fragrance of mountain air penetrates through your nostrils. A glittering lake in the horizon welcomes you with its open arms. Occasionally, the honking of geese or the chattering of your friends breaks the almost insurmountable tranquility, while you finally breathe a sigh of relaxation. The goal of this annual retreat is to show the next generation of leaders that they are capable of much more than they realize.
For the final project the counselors and students made a miniature golf course! Everyone will be able to play tomorrow at our final celebration. What amazing creativity, engineering and teamwork. Special thanks to DM Heng Yi for the recycled materials!
