October 5th marked the arrival of International Teacher’s Day. Millions of beloved teachers throughout the world were thus honored, a handful of which were in the Confucius Hall attending the annual Teacher’s Day Celebration of Developing Virtue Boys School.
Mrs. Babette Donaldson, the founder of the International Tea Sippers Society, came to visit the Developing Virtue Tea Club to share her experience and knowledge of tea.
by: Austin Quach (Class of 2018) On February 17, Ukiah residents celebrated Chinese New Years at Alex Thomas Plaza. Students from Developing Virtue Boys School helped welcome the Year of the Dog with many marvelous performances such as the lion dance, dragon dance, 24 seasons drumming, and Chinese orchestra.
by: Chee Hee Seng (Class of 2019) On November 12, 2017, several boys from the Developing Virtue Tea Club went on a trip to San Francisco’s Ferry Building Marketplace to attend the International Tea Festival.
by Nuoyan Wang (Class of 2021) Following the previous Honoring Elders event, the CTTB HED occurred on Saturday, October 28, including performances from both the IGDVGS and IGDVBS. Requiring difficult coordination as well as hours of practice, the 2017 Annual Honoring Elders Day was a success.
