Our California State Parks recently teamed up with local libraries to give all 4th graders a free year pass to visit any or as many parks of their choice. The 3rd and 4th graders took a field trip to our local library to meet a ranger who shared this exciting news with the students. He also introduced nature journaling with the universal language of using words, drawings, and numbers to record their findings in nature. Special thanks to all our parent chaperones and drivers.
