In an engaging STEM challenge, 3rd to 6th graders recently put their teamwork, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to the test as they tackled the “Stacking Cups” challenge. Armed with just string, rubber bands, and pipe cleaners, these young innovators were tasked with creating a simple yet effective tool. Their mission: to stack cups in a specific design as a cohesive group. With determination and creativity, these budding engineers worked together to design and refine their tools, fostering an atmosphere of cooperation and ingenuity. Through this hands-on activity, these students not only honed their technical skills but also learned the value of collaboration in achieving their common goal.
