In the early morning of August 21st, 2023, students from IGDVS Girls School lined up according to their grades and waited eagerly for the flag ceremony to begin. It was their first day of school, and everyone was excited. The girls couldn’t wait any longer to talk with their classmates, whether they were old and new.

Introductions and icebreakers are always the first course of action to get familiar with each other. With the introduction rounds, all the students got to know each other’s names, grades, zodiac signs, and hobbies. The multiple icebreakers also helped them to remember each other’s names and fun facts. A period soon passed; it was time for the hour-long math placement tests.

After the tests was a presentation about school rules, and soon it was time for meal offering and lunch. Since the pandemic that had started three years ago, the students finally got the chance to have their lunch in the dining hall this year, which was a new experience for the students. The students were served a gracious and nutritious meal by the CTTB Kitchen Staff.

Afternoon orientation continued with presentations and bonding activities.

Overall, the first day of school was a very memorable day for the students here at IGDVS where they made many cheerful memories!
