On the 4th of April, 2019, a doctor from China paid a visit to the Developing Virtue Secondary Girls School to enlighten us about his new method of therapy called the Five-Color Therapy. Dr. Wang Ye Ye is very well-known in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Using his knowledge and his observation of traditional medicine, Dr. Wang managed to come up with a very quick and effective way to solve the problems one’s body is signaling to us.

In our bodies, there are a total of 5 elements, which are wood, fire, earth, metal, and water. Due to the imbalance of these elements in our bodies, we tend to get sick or receive an abnormal sign from our own bodies. Thus, Dr. Wang uses five different colors to represent each element and mark it on our left hand to balance out our elements.

Dr. Wang’s lecture and demonstration awed the students greatly and everyone was amazed at how effective the five-color therapy was. Dr. Wang, thank you for opening up a new direction in medicine!
