The idea of a PTO Trip was proposed on August 25, at the very first ASC meeting. No one could have imagined the difficult process that would follow. After months of negotiation and compromise, juniors Marco He and Bo Han Zhu would finally appeal with a feasible plan: a one-day trip to the Pacific Coast with the purpose of student bonding and destress. The trip would involve only the high school and take place on March 29th.

At 8:00, the students left for Glass Beach, where they embarked on a relaxing coastal stroll. Amidst the hum of the splashing waves, the students conversed and played. But the drive had been a long one, and so, the group unanimously agreed on an early departure toward the next stop－lunch. Once they arrived, some prepared for lunch while other had fun on the beach. The students ate delicious D.I.Y. sandwiches before continuing along the coastline to Point Cabrillo Lighthouse.

And just like that, the long-awaited PTO Trip was over. It was definitely a rewarding experience, especially for the seniors, who managed to get in countless graduation photos. 🙂
