Following the Christmas Recital at the WinterFest in the Confucius Hall, the Chinese Orchestra performed in Willits the next day.

Traditional Chinese songs were performed while audience members filed in. After a short invocation by a speaker from the local Frank Howard Memorial Hospital, the recital began with the singing of Christmas carols. The crowd sang along as the orchestra played Joy to the World, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, and Frosty the Snowman. Next, the music appreciation class performed their solos. Performances from other local groups occurred afterward, but the Boys School departed back to Ukiah, to prepare for school the following day.
