As the sun began to set on Monday, October 6th, 2025, and everyone prepared, students headed to the red benches where the event would soon begin. Excitement buzzed in the air as 8th and 9th graders played the role of hosts. We shared stories and the traditions behind the Mid-Autumn Festival. Then someone noticed the bright full moon slowly rising behind the mountains and trees, forming a beautiful and wholesome image. We took photos of the moon and everyone felt the meaning of this event: spending time with our loved ones. Even though some of us might be far from them, we all share and see the same beautiful Moon.

After the emcees finished, someone suggested karaoke and dancing. The little kids danced and wiggled to the rhythm; they were such party hypers! Afterwards, the kids expressed their passion for dancing, and even though some performances were not planned, we still had more fun than expected.

Another unexpected, unforgettable moment was when we all sang along to some songs and danced along with them. Everyone was living in the moment and cherishing the present. We sang karaoke and danced to some songs that were truly special. Some of us even had our own solos, like a mini concert.

Time always passes fast when you’re having fun. The event ended with laughter. What a meaningful night it was!

Thank you to all the students and teachers who helped prepare this wonderful event!
