The crowd of students gathered in front of the school discussing their new class schedules, catching up with old friends and meeting the new students as they waited for the flag ceremony to start. After a long and amazing summer, the first day of school officially commences with the raising of the flag.

Following this, students entered the school to attend the orientation given by Dharma Master Heng Shun. During the orientation, Mrs. Moore introduced all the new students. The new students received a warm welcome from all the teachers and older students. Our school counselor Mr. Pegan gave a talk about our future college journey after we finished the orientation, giving us several goals to strive for in this new academic year. With ample food for thought to contemplate, all the students headed to their respective classrooms to begin their day of rigorous learning.
