On March 28th, the Girls and Boys Divisions of Instilling Goodness and Developing Virtue School joined forces to host the annual Cherishing Youth Day celebration. This year’s event welcomed over 600 attendees—the largest gathering since the pandemic—including students and staff from Calpella, Frank Zeek, Oak Manor, Chanel Valley, Yokayo, and other participating schools.

Centered on the theme of growth, the event featured a powerful storytelling segment set in a classroom of 10 students and one teacher. Each student shared a personal challenge they faced in their academic journey, highlighting how they overcame it and the virtue they cultivated through the experience. These heartfelt stories served as inspiring reminders of resilience, kindness, and self-improvement.

We extend our deepest gratitude to all the students who attended and contributed to this meaningful day. A special thanks to the parents, teachers, and staff whose dedication made this event possible. We also recognize Phil Harsh, Mr. Lau, and Frank Liu for their invaluable support in managing the sound system and offering insightful guidance throughout the program.
