The elementary school students had the opportunity to visit Dr. Nguyen’s chemistry lab, where they got a taste of what it’s like to be real scientists. Dressed in lab coats, goggles, and gloves, the students stepped into the shoes of chemists for the lesson.
Dr. Nguyen captivated the students with a series of exciting chemical demonstrations, including reactions between copper sulfate (CuSO₄) and sodium hydroxide (NaOH), as well as ferrous sulfate (FeSO₄) with sodium hydroxide. Under Dr. Nguyen’s guidance, the students also had a chance to conduct these reactions themselves. This hands-on experience sparked curiosity and inspired a deeper interest in the wonders of science.
