On June 5th, the long-awaited annual graduation ceremony has finally arrived!

DVGS students gathered together in the Wonderful Words Hall. Decorated beautifully with balloons and ribbons. A banner reading “Happy Graduation” hung at the center of the stage, with soft and solemn lighting, proudly signaling the special occasion of the day.

As the ceremony began, gentle notes of piano music echoed, and everyone stood up to sing the school song, welcoming the graduates. After all were seated, the graduation ceremony officially commenced.

Teachers stood to share their heartfelt blessings and hopes for the graduates. Parents spoke of touching stories, and an alumna took the stage, encouraging the graduates with stories from the road ahead.

Graduating Seniors spoke of their lessons learned from their high school years and conveyed their gratitude for the IGDVS community. Then, with joyful smiles, Jin Jr. Shr and Heng Ching Shr presented the Honor Role awarded to Ali Wang, Hannah Cheng, and Selene Luong(Class of 2027) along with presenting the Class of 2025 with their high school diplomas.

At the end of the ceremony, all the students sang a song to celebrate the graduates’ completion of high school. But everyone knew—graduation was not the end of youth, but the beginning of a new journey. With the guidance of their teachers and the blessings of their schoolmates, they would set off toward their own bright futures.
