We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians and caretakers of the land that America is built upon. We recognize that these lands were places of learning, inquiry, and activity for hundreds of thousands of years.
We acknowledge the Elders of the past, present, and emerging and pay our respects to their deep connection with the spirit of the land on which we live, work, and play each day.
Students in grades 4-6 learn about major pre-Columbian settlements, including the cliff dwellers and pueblo people of the Southwest, the American Indians of the Pacific Northwest, the nomadic nations of the Great Plains, and the woodland peoples east of the Mississippi River.








High school students researched Indigenous tribes, exploring their unique cultures, languages, and histories, and presented their findings at a school event.
