Pumpkin Patch Party

Written by Sarah Park (Class of 2029) and Miranda Wang (Class of 2028)

Filled with happy laughter and bright smiles, elementary school students in colorful costumes danced happily to Halloween music, circling around pumpkin chairs. Other highlights are face painting, grape picking, animal petting, and coloring art.

In the evening, the junior high and high school students stepped into the pumpkin patch in their gorgeous costumes, flickering orange colors filled their eyes; organic pumpkins were hiding behind their leaves, and worms!Ahhhhhh… the students spotted more worms. After picking all the pumpkins, it’s dinner time! There were vegan nuggets, fries, kimchi noodles, flan pie, and passion mango juice. Everyone was excited when the trick or treat began! We walked to many teachers’ houses. We received many candies, and they were heavy! While on the walk, we talked and the trip was full of happiness and laughter. That night, the sky was clear and the star was bright. Some of us looked up to the sky and even saw the space station passing quickly through the sky.
