Festive Fall Events

The first fall family event for grades 2-6 was held after school on October 28, 2021 at Oak Manor Park. Dressed up in their Halloween costumes, the children painted pumpkins, played in the playground, and indulged in a variety of treats; the 5th and 6th graders also started a volleyball team. But the highlight of the event was the creative costumes inspired by Harry Potter, Pixar, Marvel, and Disney.

Families were able to mingle safely with masks, and parents took a COVID antigen test upon arrival. Furthermore, staff cleaned, sanitized, and disinfected the bench tables and play structures. It was a perfect fall evening full of laughter and fun!

In addition, our youngest learners, the K-1 students, performed a filial piety mini-play from Standards for Students and sang a song of gratitude to their families on November 4, 2021. Donned in adorable and colorful costumes, the K-1 students captured everyone’s hearts with their exuberance.
