Where Trustworthiness Leads the Way
Our two-week summer camp, June 8-19, 2026, invites children and teens to grow in character while experiencing the joy of community service, friendships, and connection to nature. Each year, we focus on a core virtue that guides our camp. This summer’s theme is trustworthiness.
To help campers explore this virtue, we encourage reflection in three key areas:
Week 1: Trust Begins Within
Week 2: Trust Grows Beyond
- Self: How do your choices show that you are honest and reliable to yourself?
- Others: How can you show others they can rely on you?
- Community: How can you act in ways that honor and care for the community and the natural world?
Special Weekend Celebrations:
We invite families to join us for these weekend events following the summer camp program.
June 20: IGDVS 50th Anniversary: Venerable Master Hua’s Education Legacy
June 21: 31st Anniversary of Venerable Master Hua’s Entering Nirvana
