On September 18th, we celebrated Peace Day with a meaningful and delightful program. This year’s theme was “blue and white,” representing peace and unity.
The day began with a special speech and the film “Teach Me to Be WILD” presented by professionals from ServiceSpace. The film explored the healing connection between traumatized children and injured, non-releasable wild animals. We found it truly touching and inspiring. After the film, we all sat together in a big circle and shared our true nature. It was a genuine and meaningful moment when we were able to speak from the heart and open up about who we truly are.
Afterward, we invited all guests and students to join a peace walk to the main CTTB gate, reciting “Om Mani Padme Hum” along the way, sending out good wishes to all the beings around the world. Upon returning from the walk, we shared the tradition of breaking bread, and hummus prepared by the elementary school. There was so much delicious food to enjoy.

It was a beautiful day filled with compassion, unity, and community spirit. We definitely achieved the wholesomeness of Peace Day. Thanks to everyone who helped prepare and participated in this year’s event.

Happy Peace Day!
