On June 4th, students, teachers, and families gathered to celebrate the graduation of the Instilling Goodness Developing Virtue Girls School Class of 2026, honoring the school’s 6th, 8th, and 12th-graders as they moved on to junior high, high school, and life beyond DVGS.



The ceremony opened with the school song as teachers and graduates proceeded down the aisle. Bella and Kelly spoke on behalf of the 6th-grade class, followed by promotions and awards from Ms. Mark, while Sherry and Celeste represented the 8th-graders before Ms. Yidan presented their promotions and awards.







Jin Jr Shr delivered a moving speech, followed by remarks from guest speaker Ms. Kravitz and a heartfelt speech from Ms. Liu, mother of graduate Lita Li, on behalf of the parents. The school also welcomed back 2022 alumna Kaitlin, DVGS after earning her B.A. in Film and Media from Emerson College.



The five seniors shared personal reflections. Anna Huang, the president of the associated student body and Computer Science Club. Emily Tan, the vice president of the associated student body and Her Dreams Matter. Gabby Nguyen, the senior class representative and treasurer of the Interact Club. Lita Li, secretary of the associated student body and vice president of the Chinese Orchestra club. Zoe Hui, the treasurer of the associated student body and president of the piano ensemble.
Jin Jr Shr then presented the honor roll award to Ali wang and Selene Luong. Followed by the presidential awards, and senior diplomas. The graduates closed the program with a final song sung by their peers, bringing the ceremony to a heartfelt conclusion.




The event marked not only the end of the seniors’ journey at DVGS, but also a celebration of the teachers, families, and friends who supported them along the way. As the Class of 2026 embarks on new adventures, we congratulate each graduate and wish them happiness, and growth in the years ahead. May they carry the values, memories, and spirit of DVGS wherever their paths may lead.
