Class of 2026: Senior Spotlight
We are proud to celebrate Leo and his exceptional accomplishments as he prepares for his next chapter at Stanford University, where he plans to major in Biology.
Leo has demonstrated outstanding leadership, service, and academic excellence throughout high school. He served as Vice President for the 11th grade class, founded Seminar Club, and has been actively involved in community outreach through Tzu Chi, including Alzheimer’s awareness initiatives, free mobile health clinics, and translating during evening Dharma talks in the Buddha Hall.
An accomplished student researcher, Leo has conducted advanced neuroscience and Alzheimer’s research that earned recognition at international conferences, including receiving the Best Paper Award at IEEE EC BIOS 2024 and being selected as one of six international presenters at the Stanford Neuroscience High School Forum.
Beyond academics, Leo is also a dedicated cellist and member of the Ukiah Junior Academy Advanced Strings Symphony.
We are incredibly proud of Leo’s leadership, compassion, and passion for discovery, and we are excited to see all he will accomplish in the future.
Congratulations, Leo!
