Competitors will compete within their age group. During the judging process, works will be compared within the same age group.

**Criteria Rubrics**

The judges will be looking at the following criteria rubrics and give a score on each on a scale of 1-5:

  • Creativity: The artist uses vivid imagination and demonstrates critical thinking of the theme in the creation of his artwork.
  • Quality: The artwork is complete, with no smudges or any other unintentional marks that lower the visual quality of the artwork.
  • Originality: The artist created the artwork based solely on his/her idea without copying other artists (reference photos are allowed, but 100% copying a photo is not allowed. Plagiarism will be checked).
  • Clarity in conveying the theme: The artwork is clearly on topic and conveys the message.
