Today, six incredible students from the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas and the Instilling Goodness & Developing Virtue School Interact Club dedicated two hours of their time to beautify our new Disaster Resource Center. With shovels, rakes, and a can-do spirit, they filled planter boxes with soil and flowers, pulled weeds, cut back trees, and cleared leaves using blowers and rakes. Their hard work brought new life to our space and made a lasting impact.

Not only did they lend their hands, but they also helped raise $320 to support our mission—showing that generosity comes in many forms. For years, these students have been part of our volunteer family—helping throughout the year or during summer school since 2017. Their commitment proves that the young generation, especially young women, play a vital role in shaping stronger, more compassionate communities. Their efforts today remind us that giving back isn’t just an act of service—it’s a way to inspire, uplift, and build a brighter future for all.
