On the sunny afternoon of Wednesday, March 19, 2025, IGDVS students gathered together for the opening of the ESLR Museum in Wonderful Words Hall to celebrate the fantastic work of kindergarten to 12th grade students from the 2025 school year.

ESLR stands for Expected School Wide Learning Results, the work in the museum branches from this topic into themes such as Core Virtues, Spiritual Wisdom, Academic Development, and Global Awareness.

The Fairy Guardian Rhythm drum dance performance by the 7th-10th grade students opened the museum followed by live music from students. The remarkable pianists, accordionist, and Chinese ensemble filled the museum with melodious music, showing the achievements of those who participate in musical extracurricular activities.

The museum displayed a variety of artworks such as Chinese calligraphy, clay sculptures, drawings in many different mediums, historical posters, Native American dolls, science fair projects, hand-sewed quilts, and many more. These projects and artwork demonstrate each students’ dedication to many different topics.

Families, staff, and community members attended, appreciating the dedication and creativity shown by students. The event was a wonderful chance to highlight a year of heartfelt learning, exploration, and student achievement within the framework of kindness and gratitude. Thank you to the teachers and students in the ELSR team involved in creating the exhibits and we extend our gratitude to the participants who made this event possible.
