After a week of exciting planning, our Halloween Trick-or-Treating adventure took shape on the evening of October 31st. The DVBS dorm students were eager, and after dinner, everyone dressed in different costumes in preparation for the outing. Soon, a brigade of military officers, masked heroes, and skeleton kings marched out and assembled before the gate. Students set out from the dormitory under the guidance of our teachers and started the trick-or-treat journey along the community paths near CTTB.
For most of them, it was their first time participating, but their excitement overshadowed any nervousness or social anxiety. To speed up the process, students divided themselves into different groups. They eagerly knocked on doors, taking their first brave steps. “Trick or Treat!” As the doors opened, the hosts warmly handed out delicious sweets, and each student beamed as he received a generous handful of candy. During the walk, the trick-or-treating teams also visited classmates’ houses to collect candy. Of course, before they departed, they left with a big “thank you” and “Happy Halloween!”

Unfortunately, the night had come, and this wonderful and exciting adventure had to end. In the end, students returned with their bags full of candy and their hearts full of joy.

A particular thank you to Mrs. Lau and her son for supervising the students during the event!
