On the morning of October 25th, the 7-10th graders went to the Sonoma Children’s Museum in Santa Rosa to volunteer at their FUNtasmagoria Halloween event. Children went to the Museum to have fun at all the interactive displays and engage in the activity booths where the DVGS students helped out.

The volunteering opportunities the students participated in ranged from supervising toddlers in TOTopia to organizing traffic as parking wizards. Others helped kids stir up a caldron of oobleck slime to play with, gave children spooky face paintings, and offered their assistance to many other stations.

Overall, the students had an amazing time volunteering at the Museum and look forward to future opportunities. Thank you to the Sonoma County Children’s Museum for inviting the Girl’s School over to volunteer and to all the drivers that made this trip possible!
