On April 23rd, the K-12 community gathered for the annual ESLR (Expected School-wide Learning Results) Museum, themed “Kindness Unites: A Journey of Harmony and Gratitude,” celebrating student achievements and creativity throughout the year. Here’s a recap of the event highlights:

The museum displayed a variety of artworks, such as paintings of the CTTB mountain gate, Chinese poetry, Chinese brush paintings, self-portraits, nature fairies, clay figurines, and woven baskets, all reflecting themes of kindness, harmony, and gratitude. These artworks showed cultural exploration and artistic expression from K-12 students. Students also gave presentations on influential religious figures, demonstrating their research skills and understanding of ethical ideals across different religions.

Live events included two plays: “The Heart Sutra” and “Hamlet,” which further explored themes of compassion and human connection.

The ESLR Museum focused on students’ academic, artistic, and ethical growth during the school year. It reflected the school’s dedication to nurturing well-rounded individuals ready to contribute to their communities with empathy and understanding.

Families, staff, and community members attended, appreciating the dedication and creativity shown by students. Overall, the event was a success, highlighting a year of learning, exploration, and student achievement within the framework of kindness and gratitude.
