On February 3, 2023, IGDVS held its second annual Chinese Couplets and Calligraphy Challenge. With guidance from their teachers, the students had spent weeks composing their couplets and practicing their calligraphy.

Written on bright red paper, the dark ink of the words expressed their good wishes for the new year, as well as their reflections and creative insights. Several Chinese teachers, including Dr. Yu, Mr. Li, and Ms. Cai, served as the judges for the competition, with the winners receiving wonderful prizes such as hand-written cards and chocolate.

Congratulations to all the winners and everyone who submitted their couplets and calligraphy!
