The Instilling Goodness and Developing Virtue Girls School and Dharma Realm Buddhist University present the Infinite Light Winter Recital, featuring our international young musicians’ renditions of worldwide masterpieces. The coming together of diverse genres of music that originated from various cultures and in different periods of time ignites the interconnected light that dispels darkness and erases boundaries and limitations.

This inexhaustible lamp is like a single lamp

Sample repertoires from the program include Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 5 in A Major, a teacher-student jazz duet on saxophone, Neapolitan song “A serenata d”e rrose”, contemporary music inspired by ancient Chinese opera, modern and classical dance, and originally composed Buddhist choir pieces.
