On September 11, 2022, the Community Service Club (CSC) continued their tradition of providing warm vegetarian meals to the local homeless. At noon, the students arrived at Plowshares, the community dining center, and began preparing the dishes with a joyous spirit.

The sight of appetizing tofu marinades, the sound of vigorously boiling water, the smell of baked potatoes, the taste of savory tomato sauce, and the diverse textures of stir-fried vegetables all came together to form a hearty meal made with heart.

After a few bustling hours in the community kitchen, the CSC members packed the delicious meal of spaghetti with tomato and mushroom sauce, stir-fried vegetables, fried tofu, and baked potatoes into over thirty boxes.

IGDVS will be at Plowshares every second Sunday of the month. Let us know if you would like to join us in serving from the heart!
