The 2nd-4th graders have been learning how to sew many fun and creative projects. From designing their own patterns to cutting out felt pieces, they have been using their creativity, fine motor skills, and patience to complete small stuffed animals, purses, book marks, and name plates. Students were filled with joy as they completed their projects stitch by stitch. One student mentioned that he didn’t know sewing could be so much fun, and wanted to sew more over spring break. It’s wonderful to see our students develop a newfound appreciation for this important life skill.
