After our own celebrations on our own campus, it was time to extend our festivities to the greater Ukiah community. On Saturday, February 26th, student of Developing Virtue Secondary School loaded up their equipment and departed for Alex Thomas Plaza in downtown Ukiah. The students performed during the Saturday Farmers’ Market, which consisted of booths with tasty burritos, zesty lemonades, and many others intriguing items. The Boys School gave four performances: Chinese Orchestra, 24 Seasons Drumming, Dragon Dance, and Lion Dance. Meanwhile, the Girls School presented their elegant Chinese Dance, harmonious band, and a Chinese Orchestra performance of their own. All the performances were received by the audience with applause and amazement, and overall we succeeded in all of the performances. Good job and thank you everyone!
