Wow! Time has really flown by and October has already come to an end. This year’s spooky Halloween party was hosted by the sophomores. Everyone was dressed in creative and scary costumes, with the online students participating through an online Zoom meeting. We all had a wonderful time eating snacks prepared by the freshmen and Junior High (with the help of our amazing principal, Jin Jr Shi), and of course, tons of candy. Even with limited time to plan, the sophomores presented many fun games including a multi-purposed bloody backdrop used as a photo booth and scattered with letters we had to unscramble (spelling “Death of Friday”) to win candy. We also played a game of Mafia and watched a classic Halloween movie called “Coraline.”
The moon was radiant and full as the music slowed down and the party came to an end. Whether in-person or online at home, we were able to celebrate a special Halloween celebration. We hope everyone had a fun, memorable night!
