Over the course of a regular Monday ASC (student council) meeting, the boys students agreed to focus their efforts towards creating new opportunities for outreach activities into the greater Ukiah community. Last week, Boy School’s newest club — the Community Service Club — was thus founded to achieve such a goal. Mr. Yan, our club supervisor, helped to recruit members and coordinate activities.

On Saturday, February 29th, the first of such activities was conducted by a group of seven boys who performed a short series of musical performances at the Brookside Senior Center. Afterwards, they partook in a heated balloon volleyball game. Such a simple game still met the smiles of the seniors, who happily invited to us visit more often.
