IG-DVGS Buckles Up

By DVGS Editorial

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) was invited to the Instilling Goodness Developing Virtue Girls School on October 11, 2018 to introduce traffic laws and traffic safety to the students. The elementary school students were welcomed by the CHP mascot, a chipmunk, and were treated with gifts such as stickers and badges. For the 7th-12th graders, Officer Marin Olegario presented slideshows on the importance of being aware and safe on our roads. They also brought in virtual reality equipment for the students to experience car crash simulations. This was enjoyed very much by all attended, and overall, the event was a fun and educational experience. Thank you, officers!
