Trash is constantly thrown into the Russian River, polluting our neighboring rivers and  damaging our surrounding environment. Consequently, a Russian River cleanup is  organized every year. On Saturday September 16th, the students of Developing Virtue  Boys School worked alongside other volunteers in this year’s cleanup. After a morning  of hard work, the boys collected piles of trash, along with many tires and mattresses.  Although exhausting and cold, the adventurous journey in the water led to a great  triumph in the end; with more trash collected than ever before.
