On April 20th, the students of Instilling Goodness and Developing Virtue School were invited to participate in the Earth Day Celebration at Ukiah’s Todd Grove Park.

Naturalist Cathay Monroe spoke to the audience about appreciating the native land and conservation. Student winners from the 2024 Ukiah Green Speech Contest also gave stunning speeches showing their love and care for the Earth, bringing everyone to appreciate the land that we stand on today.

Wonderful performances were given by the students, such as Chinese Orchestra, Drumming, and Violin & Saxophone duet, to connect with nature through the art of music.

Let us appreciate the earth, not just today!
